Hype Bros vs. The Vaudevillains
Whirlwind what? Geez. I still don’t buy them as good performers and even harder tag team title contenders. Hype Bros have way more right that them but it’s obvious they are being pushed into the Tag Team title picture. To tell you the truth, I didn’t miss them at all.
Never liked their “title reign”. Not even Blue Pants could save them (that’s another thing I never understood as she has lots to be desired about in the ring).

Carmella vs. Emma
I thought for a moment that they were recording on an empty building. You could probably hear a pin drop if it fell in the arena.
Emma looked better than Carmella, no questions asked. Seemed more like a fluke win than a strong win towards a title match. It’s really hard to take Carmella seriously as a contender to Bailey with matches like this.
I was also expecting Dana Brook to get involved and/or an after match attack with Bailey coming to the rescue. Creative are dropping the ball big time on this feud. Ask the fan snoozing in front row.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady in Action
Another meaningless match for the tag team. Proving they can beat an unnamed team doesn’t say much about them. Another missed opportunity here for creative. These two deserve the push way more than the Vaudevillains.

Asuka vs. Santana Garrett
Was great to see Azuka back, but by now you should know my position on squash matches. Santana could have shinned even when losing. Another missed opportunity.

Conclusion
NxT is sadly falling on the normal RAW/Smackdown scheme. A good main event and lot of mediocre matches. This is not the NxT I was proud of last year. I know they are working with new talents, but creative is dropping the ball so bad this year it’s scary.
They need to start working on all the story loose ends they left last year, soon.
