Do I think this was the right way? No. And I bet many of us agree that he needed to go away with a win and the streak untouched. He deserved it.
Is a great milestone for Reigns but it leads into seeing him in the main event which I don’t like either.

Shortly after Roman Reigns defeated The Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 33, ESPN’s Jonathan Coachman caught up with him and asked him what it felt like to win the main event. Reigns said that it was a bittersweet experience and that he had a lot of respect for The Deadman.
This is what Roman Reigns had to say to Coachman:
“To be honest with you Coach, you know, it’s bittersweet. It almost feels like a loss, you know what I mean? Because I’ve said this for the past three or four weeks, I’ve got nothing but respect for the Undertaker. If you’ve been a part of this business, and you know, everybody’s got respect for that man.
