Miz speaks about being an Underdog in WWE

I’ve always liked him, even when he was champion. He’s an underdog and very underused both on the mic and on the ring.

I’m glad he has some gold around his waist again.

The current WWE Intercontinental champion the Miz recently spoke with Sports Illustrated where he talked about many things including the New Era, being an underdog in the industry and more. Below are some of the highlights from the interview:

Talking about his journey in WWE and how his journey has been so far as an Underdog in the company due to his smaller size compared to other wrestlers, Miz said that he has made it thus far due to his hard work:

Everyone always said I’d be out of here in three months. People thought I’d be fired, and I was kicked out of the locker room. But–through hard work, sacrifice, dedication, blood, sweat, and tears–I’m still here fighting and scratching and clawing and craving.
