After the big depletion of the division with all the call ups in the draft, she better back up all the hype!
Ember Moon’s WWE NXT debut has been hyped for a few weeks. Vignettes have aired for her, which have been cryptic and didn’t reveal much about the newest Superstar. The only information found out from the clip is her in-ring arrival on Saturday, August 20, which is NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II. This will be at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Billie Kay will be Moon’s opponent.
It should be noted this is the second consecutive year where a new star debuted at TakeOver in Brooklyn. Apollo Crews defeated Tye Dillinger at the show in 2015 in his first match.
Given that fans haven’t seen Ember appear on NXT, little information may be known about her. So who is this latest wrestler to join the women’s division?
Ember Moon is 27-year-old from Garland, TX. She stands at five-foot-two, 121lbs, according to her CageMatch.net profile. She previously wrestled under the name Athena on the independent scene, and used her real name of Adrienne Reese at NXT live events throughout 2016.
Moon has wrestled for multiple promotions, including Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling (RoW), Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW), SHIMMER, and SHINE. She is a three-time ACW American Joshi Champion.
Nice finisher, enjoy while is not banned.
