Monday Night RAW, August 8th

Was RAW able to break the bad show streak?

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens

Interesting but semi-random match up here. Owens and Jericho could be an interesting team, specially a heel team in the division. They need to come on top of this feud for that to happen.

Enzo Amore vs. Chris Jericho

Good match that brought a lot of attention to this new feud. That’s how it’s done WWE creative! Kudos!

Braun Strowman vs. Jorel Nelson

Sigh, another squash match. It’s not working! At least the finisher is better than his original submission.

Darren Young vs. Titus O’Neil

This is doomed to a quick end. I would be surprised if it even made it to Summer Slam pre-show.

Seth Rollins Promo

Cesaro vs. Sheamus

Solid match even if we saw them last week. They are stuck in limbo. Hopefully Cesaro get out with his title shot, which its sadly doomed to be a loss no matter who wins the Universal Title.

Neville and Sin Cara vs. The Dudley Boyz

Not much to see here. I thought the idea of splitting the Lucha Dragons was to get Kalisto into singles. Neville finds himself in limbo as well. Sigh…

Roman Reigns Ruins Rusev and Lana’s Wedding Ceremony

This brings some more heat to this feud and seems got Reigns over. A huge feat!

Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke

It’s a shame that they didn’t gave time or the required attention to this match when we saw a lot of wasted time in other parts of the show. For what it’s supposed to be a major title for the brand, this was awfully done.

Match was fine, just not enough time. Dana looked weak in that match, again due to the short time. They need to turn up the heat next two weeks as this feud lost a lot of steam.

Kofi Kingston vs. Doc Gallows

A weak match that contributed little to the feud.

Daniel Bryan and Mick Foley Summit

Was not as big of a deal as it was tried to be done.

United States Championship Match: Cesaro vs. Rusev

Solid match, really boosting the reputation of the U.S. title, Rusev and Cesaro. Even when he lost, this is the type of match you need to have to win even when you lose.

The only loser here is Reigns. This impromptu match had more potential and star power than his at Summer Slam.

Another weak show, third week in a row. They are handing the war to Smackdown. Too much wasted time/fillers. And the matches that could have been better had not enough time.
