– Thanks to contributor Jonathan Oakley for sending the following WWE NXT live event results from Kingston, Rhode Island. Here are the following results below:

* Chris Girard defeated Mojo Rawley. Girard looked good here and Mojo had a crew in the crowd with New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski

* Bayley and Carmella defeated Dana Brooke and Alexa Bliss. Good women’s match, Dana didn’t really look rusty at all

* Manny Andrade defeated Riddick Moss. The crowd loved Manny, looks like he’s ready for the main event now

* NXT Tag Team Champions Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated Dash and Dawson. Very good match here, the referee botched at one point and gave The Revival a 3 count. Fun chants and pops for American Alpha

* Austin Aries defeated Tommaso Ciampa in a sick match

* NXT Women’s Champion Asuka defeated Peyton Royce in another strong women’s match, Asuka is amazing. She won with the Asuka Lock

* Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated NXT Champion Samoa Joe and Elias Samson in the main event. Strong heat for The Drifter and a good mixed reaction for Joe, people are really happy for his title win I believe. It was different seeing Balor without the title but he did his usual entrance and got thank you chants. Nakamura seemed to be the most over all night. Balor cut a promo after the match about Joe being champion and the landscape changing. Balor said he was sore when he woke up, physically and emotionally because he held the belt for 292 days. Balor says he wasn’t sure how he would feel coming out tonight but he thanked everyone for their energy and support. Balor for a pop for himself and Nakamura, who led the crowd in a “WE ARE NXT!” chant. They posed and celebrated together as fans chanted. Balor stopped to wave goodbye on his way out.
