Monday Night RAW

Shane keeps running RAW for third straight week. after losing the right to do so against Undertaker in Wrestlemania.

I have enjoyed the shows so far. Getting better but way too slow. AJ, Zayn, Owens, Corbin and Cesaro moving the show along, but they have faced each other quite a while since Wrestlemania. Creative needs to get the ball rolling as they are relying too much on them and it’s starting to get old.

The Ambrose Asylum with Shane McMahon

It’s hard to deny Ambrose’s talents on the mic.

Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho

It’s nice to see Jericho as a menace with so many wins over big names. That’s how you make someone beating him more relevant. This same build up they need to do with Big Show, for example, prior to him pushing talent over.

Tag Team Tournament Match: Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. The Dudley Boyz

A match that could be held on the PPV. I thought this was building up to a nice feud to unwrap at a later stage on the tournament but I was wrong. I felt a bit dissapointed on the match itself. Hard to tell who’s fault it was, but it felt weak.

Roman Reigns Promo

Interesting story developing here.

Fandango vs. Baron Corbin

Corbin keeps running over the roster and Dolph came for an attack but got leveled as well. Dolph needs to take the upper hand or their match won’t be effective if the plan is to push Corbin.

I still believe harder fought matches are better for everyone.

Miz TV with Cesaro

Nice to see Cesaro and Miz on the title picture although I still feel bad for Zack. Still believe he deserved it.

The New Day and Cesaro vs. The Miz and The League of Nations

Nothing magic, but they did the best they could out of this match.

8-Woman Tag Team Match

The only thing I don’t like about this multi person matches is that if they don’t have enough time to perform it usually doesn’t work.

Glad to see Natalya gaining steam to her title match. Sadly she’ll be fed to Charlotte. Sad because she deserves a title run and she might not be around for too long.

Tag Team Tournament Match: The Usos vs. The Vaudevillains

It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of the Vaudevillains.  This was another weak match for all the performers here. I appreciate the push for the new teams, but the finals for the tournament look to be a train wreck. Only Enzo and Cass could make a good job against New Day

Apollo Crews vs. Heath Slater

The only promising part was Owens looking at his potential next feud. Apollo needs a real challenge pronto.

Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens

They just never disappoint, but WWE creative are going to the well once too often.

Overall a weak show. Had some solid matches sprinkled here and there. Too many low quality matches affect the overall outcome, again.

Booking/creative has improved a lot, but the show is suffering with the low quality matches. I guess that’s a move on the right direction.

Payback PPV card looks really strong so far. Only WWE creative could mess this one up.
