Monday Night RAW, April 11th

After a average show with a great main event, the roles reverted for this RAW.

Shane McMahon Books a Number of Matches

Awesome matches. The future is promising. Full of meaningful matches and a Tag Team tournament to give live to that division. All the right moves.

Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens

Just feel bad for Zack. At least he had his Wrestlemania moment. The match was not their best, but still was solid.

Finally seeing Cesaro pushed is a great sight. Long overdue.

8/10

The Lucha Dragons vs. The Dudley Boyz (Tag Team Tournament)

The match ended short as it seemed Kalisto had a bad injury. This will be a big hit, but I know Ryder could replace him with the lesser belt.

Enzo and Big Cass keep stalking the Dudleys, this could be big! And no, you can’t teach that!

6/10

The Wyatt Family Works with Roman Reigns

I’m still on the fence with this apparent face turn. I hope it’s just a way to stay closer to the gold and look for weaknesses on the champion to challenge him and hopefully dethrone him soon.

We’re are short of good heels.

Charlotte vs. Natalya (Women’s Championship)

I love to see Natalya in the title picture again. Just sad we all know she’s just being fed to Charlotte to hype even more when Sasha claims the title.

Not their best match but still solid.

7/10

The Usos vs. Curtis Axel and Heath Slater (Tag Team Tournament)

Flat match with an interesting aftermath. Anderson and Gallows attacked the Usos setting up to good tag team bouts, most likely to take place in the semi finals of the tournament. Plain good booking saving a mediocre match.

5/10

AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn

Amazing match! When you perform at this level, the outcome are just details mostly irrelevant.

9/10

Chris Jericho’s ‘Highlight Reel’

Great feud in the making here.

Apollo Crews vs. Adam Rose

Average match even when Rose fought more than usual. It is good that all participants have a chance to shine. That’s how matches get better.

Apollo looks to be ready for a mid card feud already.

5/10

The League of Nations vs. Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns

Sadly a weak hurried main event. Hope it’s building for some surprises. Wouldn’t be surprised Bray costs AJ the title win.

6/10

Conclusion

Even with the weak main event and a few short mishaps, this was a big show in the ring.

As a whole it was for sure a 8/10. If Shane keeps this up, we won’t see Vince for quite a while.
