Smackdown, January 21st

Solid match with a better formula than what we got from RAW.

The New Day vs. Usos and Dolph Ziggler

It was an amazing match. Full of big moments. New Day has lost so much and so often that it’s hard to believe they’ll drop the titles at the Royal Rumble. It was a nice finish to the match and Dolph seemed rejuvenated with the paint.

9/10

Becky Lynch vs. Alicia Fox

With more time allotted this was way better than the short matches on RAW. Proof that it’s better not to have the match at all than giving them 2 minutes to work.

Becky keeps looking strong for her title bout, sadly it’s pointing for her to lose. Most likely by DQ or a cheap way.

8/10

Bray Wyatt vs. Ryback

A bit up a step down from previous matches. The outcome was expected, but it was a good match.

6/10

Titus O’Neil vs. Stardust

And then they screwed a good show. This feud has been way to long and has given us nothing else than a fridge break.

Match was slow paced as well. Sigh.

4/10

The League of Nations vs. Roman Reigns

The next one of the Rumble training matches for Reigns. The Wyatts standing tall at the end was a great move. They should do the same with everyone regardless they are heel, neutral of face.

8/10

Conclusion

Great show, screwed by the Titus/Stardust match. That match dropped one point at least from the final score.

Nice combination of matches (with enough time) and promos made a successful show.
